Artist Talk with Anupa Gardner and Claire Barclay
Talk and Curatorial Tour of 'From Where I Stand'
Join us on Thursday November 2nd at 4pm GMT (9:30pm IST) for a new artist talk with Anupa Gardner and Claire Barclay, whose work is currently presented in our autumn exhibition From Where I Stand. For this exhibition, both artists were commissioned new artworks to be produced at Edinburgh Printmakers by the curatorial collective Future Flow.
This is a hybrid event - in-person tickets can be reserved on this page for the artist talk and exhibition tour. For online tickets for the artist talk, click here.
In the talk, hosted in the Print Studio at Edinburgh Printmakers, Anupa Gardner and Claire Barclay will delve into the creative process for their new body of work, discussing the inspiration behind it, the key themes, and bringing the audiences to discover the practical steps that led to the finish artworks they see currently exhibited.
The talk will last approximately 45 minutes and will be available to join in-person and online.
Following the artist conversation, members of the Future Flow curatorial team will guide the audience in a curatorial tour of From Where I Stand to highlight how themes present in Anupa Gardner and Claire Barclay's work resonate within the wider exhibition.
The tour will last approximately half an hour and will only be available in-person.
This event is free, all welcome. In-person availability on the day will be subject to capacity. We encourage booking online in advance to avoid disappointment.
