Women Lithographers Roundtable
On Sunday 1st December at 4.30pm EP is hosting an informal roundtable talk with two of our studio members Gill Tyson and Joanne Pemberton, and current artist in residence, Natasha Thomas on their artistic practice with stone lithography.
During our Winter Print Fest celebrations, this talk will be an opportunity to learn more about the fascinating medium of Stone Lithography and the individual experiences of three artists printmakers at different stages of their careers and relationship with the medium.
Hear about how stone lithography fits within their broader artistic practice, learn more about courses, opportunities and residencies specific to the medium that are open to artists within Scotland and internationally.
If you’d like to see a demonstration of stone lithography, Natasha will be giving one at 3pm, more info on how to book this here.
This event is part of our series, Unwrapped, focusing on rarely seen treasures of our Permanent Collection, deep diving into different media, techniques, themes and research into printmaking.
Unwrapped is part of our heritage project Castle Mills: Then & Now supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, made possible by money raised by National Lottery players.
