6 Evening Classes to Choose
Starting from 31st of January or 1 Febuary, OR 8th of May we're running six evening classes exploring printmaking techniques. Join in with as many as you like - perfect for picking and choosing how you want to experiment!
Sign up for one, two or more Pick 'n' Mix Printmaking classes, join in for all of them, or just book one at a time. Each evening will explore a different type of process, often using lo-tech and immediate techniques so you can explore, create, experiment, have fun and learn along the way.
Choose the workshop you want to book and select the corresponding date below. You can easily add multiple dates to your basket.
There are three courses available to book - two which run over 6 consecutive Wednesday evenings, and the other 6 consecutive Thursday evenings.
The 6 consecutive weeks start from either Wed 31st of Jan, Thursday 1st of Feb or Wed 8th of May.
Week 1: 31st Jan/1st Feb or 8th May
Drypoint Etching- Explore line and tone drawing and different inking techniques using etching needles and a sheet of acrylic. Printing onto paper and plaster.
Week 2: 7th/8th of February or 15th May
Instant Collagraph - Using a mixture of household and stationery materials to create an instant printable highly textured plate.
Week 3: 14th/15th of February or 22nd May
Mono Screen Printing - Create a painterly monoprint with a screen and screen printing inks.
Week 4: 21st/22nd of February or 29th May
Embossing - create an embossed image using cut card, found objects and other materials.
Week 5: 28th/29th February or 5th June
Letterpress - Explore a word or phrase using our extensive letterpress collection.
Week 6: 6th/7th March or 12th June
Experimental Lino - Experiment with this painterly approach to lino printing using an etching mix and resits.
