Family Print Club

Full Price tickets = 1 Adult + 1 Child Family Print Club – These Sunday Funday sessions are designed for different generations to share an experience, explore some printmaking techniques, and have some fun! This course runs on Sundays, twice a month. January 19th & 26th Printmaking with Lego - create images and letters using Lego building blocks. February 16th & 23rd Collage Relief Printmaking - celebrate Spring and make imaginative images using textured paper and materials. March 23rd & 30th Drypoint Etching - explore line and tone drawing using etching needles and sheets of acrylic to create your very own printed paper bank note. April 20th & 27th Kitchen Sink Lithography - alchemy from the kitchen is put to good use to create litho prints with a touch of magic. May 18th & 25th Blind Embossing - create an embossed image with cut card and other materials, this is a process without ink! June 22nd & 29th Monoprinting Techniques - build up an image using a range of painterly printmaking techniques. September 21st & 28th Mirror, Mirror on the Wall - create some quirky selfie prints with a mirror and a felt tip. October 19th & 26th Prints from the Recycling Bin - try intaglio printmaking with some cardboard juice cartons and plastic milk bottles. Price shown per session. Book one session or more as required. Japanese Calligraphy & Hanko Stamp Making

Join us for a fun, hand-on three-hour to learn how to create your own Japanese signature stamp! Artist and printmaker Kanae Park will guide you step by step. First, you'll learn how to use traditional Japanese calligraphy brushes to write your name in Japanese. Then, convert your name into a lino print Hanko (a carved stamp commonly used in Japan as a signature). This course is open to all. Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult.
